Kind of had a delightful fanpalooza Halloween weekend. Thursday was Ghostbusters on the big screen (and damn, if I hadn't forgotten how good it is. Also I totally <3 Bill Murray more than is healthy). Friday was a movie watching party with Them! and Carpenter's The Thing with a delightfully snarky group of people. Saturday was costume shopping (three different enormous box stores while it was snowing, which it doesn't normally do in October around here. All of the stores were total zooville.) then party.

Today was a live theater production that happens every year in my town around Halloween - live "radio" broadcast with people on stage doing foley (sound effects) and everything. The main narrative part was Sleepy Hollow, which I didn't actually know the story of nearly as well as I thought. It was well done.

And now, I can't get this song out of my head:

A random book number from a late eighties Disney movie. It did have the advantage of being sung/voiced by Bette Midler.

Anyhow, yeah.

I should be totally sleeping now.

My brain seems to be attempting to poke me with needles tonight. Whatever will hurt or sting or scar. I would very much like it to STFU so I can get to sleep.

This comic is fantastic. I mean, the one I linked to, I don't know about the comic in general, as I haven't read it. Via Skepchick.
